Arginine Alpha Ketoglutarate (AAKG) is a salt of the amino acid arginine and alpha-ketoglutaric acid and plays an important role in nitric oxide (NO) activity and blood flow. Arginine Alpha Ketoglutarate (AAKG) is a cell volumiser which leads to greater delivery of nutrients into the muscles. For this reason, it can be a powerful supplement in aiding physiological performance and supporting muscle recovery in a range of sporting activities*.
Myprotein’s AAKG is superior to many other forms of arginine as it is comprised of two Arginine molecules attached to one Alph-Ketoglutarate molecule.
AAKG can be taken at 3 times throughout the day with a combined dose total of 15-18g, to help maintain elevated arginine levels. Taking more than 10g of arginine at once could result in gastrointestinal distress.

Add your preferred amount of water or fruit juice into our shaker. Then add 1g, shake and consume. Use 1-2 times daily.
